Tough Old Bird has concocted an exemplary blend of contemporary folk music, with notes of nature and nostalgia at the front of their newest album, "Garden Dream." Using an array of prose and traditional influences, their songs create a desire to reflect on memories and moving onward to whatever the future may hold.

Almost Seamus brings classic and eclectic Irish tunes to life with a harmony of guitar, violin and bass. Siblings Scott and Kate sing the melodies while Jayson keeps the beat for them as the group creates a captivating and fun atmosphere. Originally from Las Vegas, Michael DeLano has become a Buffalo music staple. As a teenager he was a rising star in the blues scene. As his horizons expanded and skills grew he ventured into other styles of music like his current grunge-inspired, indie rock sound. He's been involved in Music Is Art and strives to make the Buffalo music community a more welcoming place for new aspiring musicians. Michael is in the process of releasing new music and we had the opportunity to capture him performing some of these songs.

Kicking off Season 5 a bit early with a special series! (We meant to take a wee break after season 4.) You might remember the time Greg Hennessey interviewed us on his podcast, In The Flamingo Lounge. In celebration of his 99th episode, he invited us back. But this time, to film his guests musical performance at his studio. When we heard he was going to have Blaise Mercedes and Oscar Woodrich, from Blaised And Confused, we had to say yes.
